Living plants and natural stone create a strikingly beautiful composition.
Some planter designs will have symbols, pictographs, kanji etc. Often times inlaid with a iron oxide patina, as the planter ages there may be a bleeding of the patina on the stone. Adding a look of authenticity and centuries gone by, this may also hold true for the planters that are wrapped in iron wire.
Depending on the placement of your planter and climate, after a season or two moss will often start to grow around the base of the planter. This adds tremendously to the look and over all beauty. Best results when there is bare earth to stone contact.
